Born on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Sam cut his teeth accompanying his dad at church jams before the raw, gritty sounds of Cream, Santana, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Albert King hijacked his soul. He chased the dream hard-labouring by day, studying music by night, and grinding through the Sydney and Melbourne scenes with former powerhouse bands, Anni Piper and award-winning Dreamboogie.
Now launching his solo and band career, Sam delivers slick, groove-heavy, foot-stomping fire: warm, vibrant guitar tones, roaring rhythms, and coastal soul that hits like a wave crashing on a Memphis back porch. His debut singles Blue Ocean and Rock Me Baby stormed the AMRAP charts, and his debut full-length album - recorded at legendary Royal Studios in Memphis with Blues royalty Lester Snell and Stax veterans - made #4 on the ABAR Chart.
